Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Booking confirmation and payment

All bookings are subject to availability and become confirmed only after Egyptian Voyages issues written confirmation and receives the required deposit. Before payment, we will confirm your itinerary, price, inclusions and any supplier-specific conditions.

Holiday packages and Nile cruises

The initial deposit is paid through the secure payment link supplied with your booking confirmation.

Daily tours

• A 30% deposit is required to confirm the tour.
• The remaining 70% is payable at the start of the tour in cash or through an agreed payment link.

2. Cancellation by the traveler

Cancellation requests must be sent in writing by email or WhatsApp. The effective cancellation date is the date on which Egyptian Voyages receives the request.

Daily guided tours

• More than 24 hours before departure: amounts paid are refundable, less any non-recoverable supplier or payment-processing costs disclosed for the booking.
• Within 24 hours of departure: a 30% cancellation charge applies.
• No-show or cancellation after the scheduled departure: no refund.

Holiday packages and Nile cruises

Where a hotel, cruise, domestic flight or other supplier imposes a stricter condition, that condition will be disclosed before payment and will apply to the affected service.

3. Refunds

• Any eligible refund is calculated after the applicable cancellation charge and non-recoverable third-party costs are deducted.
• Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method whenever possible.
• We aim to submit approved refunds within 10–15 business days. Banks and payment providers may require additional processing time.
• Currency conversion differences and bank or card fees are outside our control and are not refundable by Egyptian Voyages.

4. Changes, unused services and travel documents

Requested changes are subject to availability and may change the price. Unused accommodation, transport, visits, meals or other services are not refundable after a trip has started. Travelers are responsible for valid passports, visas, insurance and compliance with entry requirements.

5. Changes or cancellation by Egyptian Voyages

If we must make a significant change, we will offer a suitable alternative where reasonably possible. If Egyptian Voyages cancels a service and no acceptable alternative is available, the amount received for that cancelled service will be refunded. We are not responsible for additional losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, government action, civil disturbance, public-health restrictions or transport disruption.
